Welcome to Atelier Loreen, where every design has a story, and every garment is crafted with love. My journey as a designer began long before I officially launched this brand. It started with a passion for creativity, a love for handmade artistry, and the desire to create something meaningful for the world. Today, I want to share with you the story of Atelier Loreen a dream that has grown from my heart and the inspiration I found in my family and in the tradition of handmade artistry.
As a mother of four, I’ve always been inspired by the joy and laughter of my children. My love for design grew from watching them explore the world around them, seeing how colors and textures sparked their imaginations. Atelier Loreen was born out of that same spirit of creativity a desire to create pieces that bring a touch of magic and elegance to everyday life.
The name “Atelier Loreen” is more than just a brand; it’s a tribute to my journey as a designer and mother. It reflects my vision of blending timeless elegance with personal storytelling, where each piece is not just a garment but a work of art that tells a unique story. This vision is also deeply rooted in the handmade artistry I grew up with, especially the influence of my mother’s beautiful Berber baskets adorned with intricate patterns and vibrant colors.
Inspired by Family and a Legacy of Creativity
My mother had a beautiful hobby when I was a child creating stunning Berber baskets with her own hands. Her skill in weaving these intricate designs, using colors that told their own story, has always been a significant source of inspiration for me. Even though it was something she did in the past, her dedication to her craft shaped the way I approach my own creations today. Creativity runs in my family; it’s a thread that binds us all together and influences every piece I design for Atelier Loreen.
My children are also at the heart of everything I create. They are my muses, the source of inspiration behind many of my designs. The way they laugh, play, and experience life has influenced my work in countless ways. For example, the Purple Label in my collection was inspired by their laughter and the moments we’ve shared on the beach, while the Red Label is a tribute to my daughter’s courage during her childhood cancer battle.
Each piece in my collection is more than just fabric and thread; it’s a reflection of my experiences, memories, and the love I have for my family. It’s also a homage to the creativity passed down from my mother and the artistry of making something beautiful by hand. This connection to both family and heritage is what makes Atelier Loreen so special to me.
